Opening its doors in 1915, Claremont Club & Spa has been revered as one of America’s iconic luxury hotels. In 2014 it became part of the Fairmont Hotels, so you're in for a luxurious experience. The Claremont Hotel is nestled in the Berkeley hills and has lovely views of the San Francisco Bay. By car, it's less than 20 minutes to the wedding venue, 20 minutes to downtown San Francisco and less than an hour to Napa and Sonoma wine country.

Unfortunately, there are some very unsafe parts of Oakland and we want to make sure you have an enjoyable experience.
Logistics
Getting around the Bay Area is easiest with a car, but if you are planning most of your stay in San Francisco you can easily get around without a rental car; we recommend using the Lyft app (use code ASHLEY701467) or calling a cab. The venue has a free, private parking garage onsite if you would like to drive to our wedding.
